Through our very own graduate rotational program and internship program, we create a culture where mentoring and sharing knowledge are key, creating an environment in which the future generation of leaders can truly blossom.

Looking for new players

Last fall, our Head Office welcomed about a hundred students from different business schools to our recruitment cocktail. It was the perfect occasion for them to broaden their professional network and to learn more about the different opportunities at GD for new graduates. Our leaders were there to meet the new generation of talent and to share their experiences in a friendly ambiance. 

We were also at the “Fashion Business Uncovered” event, organized by students from McGill University, and for which Groupe Dynamite was the main sponsor. Always on the lookout for new players, our Talent team took the opportunity to speak with several students who are passionate about the fashion industry. 

Groupe Dynamite actively participates in different student events and takes to heart the integration of young graduates onto the job market!

This summer, we put our grads to the test! The mission: revamp our product distribution processes. We grouped them into multidisciplinary teams to brainstorm over different solutions and we gave them carte blanche.

This case study was a unique opportunity for them to use the skills that they had learnt over the last few weeks and to test their strategic thinking. After five weeks of reflection, our grads got to submit their recommendations by presenting them to a jury made up of members from our senior management team.

There is no question that these grads are talented, passionate and full of ideas. By exposing them to our strategic issues early on, we hope to show our recruits that contributions from all levels are essential to our success and we value everyone’s involvement.

On The Sales Floor

The grads from our 4th cohort had the opportunity to discover the dynamic environment of our stores, where they got the chance to familiarize themselves with the various facets of our customer experience. Grads also got to shadow our Head Merchandisers in their role, and took advantage of the opportunity to acquaint themselves with our visual standards, our DNA and the importance of our brand image.

The grads will continue with their week-long rotations in each department until July 29th, closely working with mentors and leaders, while enjoying a memorable experience.
